analyze and discuss financial regulation reorganization articulated in

In the online forum, the experts will express their reactions to President
Obama`s recently released white paper on remaking the powers of the Federal
Reserve. The webinar will feature a Q&A session to address attendee questions.

Dr. Robert E. Litan is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and vice
president for research and policy at the Kauffman Foundation. An economist and
an attorney who has practiced law and taught banking law at the Yale Law School,
Dr. Litan is the author of numerous books and articles on financial
institutions, international trade, and regulatory issues. 

Peter J. Wallison is the Arthur F. Burns Fellow in Financial Policy Studies and
co-director of AEI's program on Financial Policy Studies. As general counsel of
the U.S. Treasury Department he had a major role in the development of Reagan
administration proposals for financial services industry deregulation. He was
general counsel of the Depository Institutions Deregulation Committee and served
as White House counsel to President Ronald Reagan. 

Lawrence J. White is the Arthur E. Imperatore Professor of Economics at New York
University's Stern School of Business and Deputy Chair of the Economics
Department at Stern. He served as a Board Member of the Federal Home Loan Bank
Board during the S&L crisis, as well as a Director of the Economic Policy Office
for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Professor White is
currently the General Editor of The Review of Industrial Organization and
Secretary-Treasurer of the Western Economic Association International.
