HIGHLIGHTS: General Wald: "We are in the midst of a financial crisis, and
our approach to energy is part of the problem. There are those who say we
cannot afford to deal with our energy issues right now. But if we don't
address our long-term energy profile now - future crises will likely dwarf
this one."
General Magnus: "Our only choice is whether we're going to make the decisions
forcefully and in a timely manner. We could lag and then we'll find ourselves
in a much more serious situation, when all of these other costs come on us."
Admiral Nathman: "This is America. We're pretty good at getting stuff done. We
need to get this one done."
