On behalf of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason
Kenney, Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Josee Verner, Labour Minister
Rona Ambrose, and MP Joy Smith will hold a news conference regarding the
reintroduction of amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection
Act (IRPA) to protect vulnerable foreign workers, many of whom are
trafficked into Canada against their will and forced to work as exotic
dancers, sweatshop workers and agricultural workers.
