JPMorgan adds CFO of treasury unit from Citi-sources

NEW YORK, June 16 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) has hired Claudia Slacik from Citigroup Inc (C.N) as chief financial officer of its treasury and securities services business, according to two people familiar with the hire.

As CFO of JPMorgan's treasury and securities services unit in New York, Slacik will have responsibility for strategy as well as finance functions and she will report to Heidi Miller, head of the business, one of the people said.

Slacik, who spent 16 years at Citi, was most recently global head of client strategy in the global transaction services group at Citi, according to one of the people. This group runs cash management and trade and securities services among other functions for the bank.

Slacik's gardening leave period expires July 15th, one of the people said. She could not be reached for comment.

JPMorgan also recently hired another Citi veteran, Anne Clarke Wolff, to head sales in its treasury and securities services division.
