Macquarie Comms vote on Canada bid set for June 30

SYDNEY, June 17 (Reuters) - Shareholders in Australia's Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group MCG.AX will vote on a $1.3 billion takeover bid from a Canadian pension fund on June 30, Macquarie Communications said on Wednesday.

The vote had originally been scheduled for Wednesday, but was postponed after Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) sweetened its offer on Tuesday.

The June 30 date is subject to confirmation pending court hearings on the transaction, Macquarie Communications said in a statement.
