MIAMI, FL, Jun 17 (MARKET WIRE) --
LeaseTrader.com, the nationwide online marketplace for car lease trades,
reveals the results of its nationwide "Making Room For Baby" survey,
polling more than 2,000 parents-to-be on all things car-related when
making room for their first baby. The majority of survey respondents
favored the Mazda CX-7 crossover as their most preferred vehicle when
making room for their first baby.

LeaseTrader.com's survey was inspired by its "New Lease On Life" program,
which helps first-time parents avoid breaking the lease on their existing
car or rolling the negative equity into their next car through a dealer.
By using the program, parents-to-be can easily transfer their smaller car
lease to someone else, clearing the way for them to immediately shop for a
larger vehicle with more space for the baby.

"Most couples must make all kinds of changes when preparing for their
first baby," said Sergio Stiberman, CEO and founder of LeaseTrader.com.
"While we all know it's important to create more room in the house, we're
utilizing our vehicles as an extension of our living space today. It's
important to have the option to quickly adjust your automotive needs for
a new baby."

    Additional information from the survey:

*Majority of parents prefer crossover vehicles (43%) compared to SUV (31%)
and minivan (21%) because of fuel efficiency and functionality.

*Percentage of parents who believe the following is the most important car
feature for new children:

Video monitor with night vision for rear-facing carriers (28%)
Automatic opening hatchback and/or doors (17%)
Impact-resistant and secure child car seat (12%)
Leather seats that allow for easy wiping of spills (9%)
Extra cargo space and fold-down seats for additional storage (6%)

After the lease has been transferred, first-time parents can also use
LeaseTrader.com to quickly turn around and adopt someone else's larger
vehicle lease offering more space for their new baby on the way.
