Italian clothier Stefanel names Santel CEO

MILAN, June 23 (Reuters) - Stefanel SpA (STEP.MI) named General Manager Director Luciano Santel to the new post of chief executive, the Italian clothing company said on Tuesday.

Santel will also become a board member, replacing Mauro Princivalli, who has resigned, it said in a statement.

Santel, 52, was named general manager last month after serving as corporate managing director at Italian shoe maker Geox SpA (GEO.MI).

Stefanel also operates in airport retailing.
