Op's NEW 'OPen CAMPUS' CAMPAIGN
LOS ANGELES, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Op is kicking off the new school year in
style with their 2009 back-to-school multi-media marketing campaign starring
90210 starlet, AnnaLynne McCord, One Tree Hill lead actress, Sophia Bush,
singer, Solange Knowles, Good Charlotte front man, Joel Madden, MTV's The
Hills,Brody Jenner and Disney star, Cody Linley. The campaign is playfully
dubbed, "OPen Campus" and features the celebrity cast getting ready for the
school year; cheering on the bleachers, running down the steps of the school,
on the football field and hanging out on a custom Op bus.
The campaign was shot at University High in Los Angeles, CA by photographer
Larry Bartholomew. The custom Op bus featured in the campaign was designed by
West Coast Customs. The retro-fitted, solar-powered vintage bus is in true Op
style, it includes a performance stage on the roof, recycled cork floors,
skateboards and surfboards, a gaming system and Op product displays among
other items.
The campaign will debut this fall in fashion, lifestyle and entertainment
magazines, and online at www.op.com.
The Op cast is wearing fall and holiday Op collections in the campaign, which
are exclusive to Wal-Mart in the Unites States, Canada and Mexico. In
addition, the celebrities will host an Op party in California in July and make
personal appearances on behalf of the brand.
