Tyco Electronics Appoints Cuong Do as Senior Vice President, Corporate
Strategy & Business Development

BERWYN, Pa., June 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tyco Electronics Ltd. (NYSE:
TEL; BSX: TEL) has appointed Cuong Viet Do as Senior Vice President, Corporate
Strategy & Business Development. He reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Tom Lynch.

extensive experience with many of the key industries we serve, as well as in
emerging markets, is an ideal fit for us."

Do most recently worked for Lenovo, where he was Senior Vice President and
Chief Strategy Officer. Previously, he was a Director with McKinsey & Company.
Do holds a bachelor of arts degree from Dartmouth College, Hanover, New
Hampshire, and a master of business administration degree from Dartmouth's
Amos Tuck School.
