Edens & Avant Names Will Ponder Vice President, Investments

COLUMBIA, S.C., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Edens & Avant announced today the
promotion of Will Ponder to Vice President, Investments, responsible for Edens
& Avant's Southeast portfolio encompassing 40 properties.

In this role, Ponder will proactively execute strategic plans for the overall
Southeast portfolio as well as on an individual asset basis. With a focus on
creating long-term value, he also will seek investment opportunities through
acquisitions and dispositions in the region, which includes Georgia, Tennessee
and the Carolinas. Additionally, Ponder will work directly with joint venture
partners, including interfacing with investors on appropriate assets.

Ponder joined Edens & Avant in 2005 as Capital Markets Associate and most
recently was Director of Investments for the Southeast region. Prior to
working at the Company, he was an Associate with Tri Properties, Inc. in
Raleigh, N.C. Ponder received a Master of Business Administration degree from
the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford
College.
