LONDON, Jun 24 (MARKET WIRE) --
London, UK, 24th June 2009. CleanEquity Monaco 2010, the premier
international cleantech event, will take place next year on 4th and 5th
March. Innovator Capital, London specialist investment bank, hosts for
the third consecutive year the annual invitation-only conference, where
the world's most exciting next-generation cleantech companies will
present their vision to senior executives and key decision makers,
representing the investment, political, industrial and media communities.
Plenary sessions, led by sector-experts, will discuss and identify key
industry themes, drivers and constraints, as well as forward-looking
trends.
CleanEquity is the only conference that offers optimal commercial and
strategic acceleration for emerging cleantech companies. Emphasis will be
on direct networking opportunities between investors and entrepreneurs,
access to political and industrial support, and widespread media exposure
- providing introductions to all necessary and sufficient resources to
support a company well past commercial success.
CleanEquity is delighted that The Monaco Chamber of Economic Development
(CDE), for the third consecutive year, accepted the invitation as
regional hosts and that the continued support from The Prince Albert II
of Monaco Foundation and the Monte-Carlo SBM have prevailed as well.
The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, a
partnership between the environmental arm of the UN and some 180
financial service institutions worldwide, will continue its collaboration
with CleanEquity for the third year running. The Monaco gathering will
follow hard on the heels of the landmark United Nations Climate Change
Summit, known as COP 15, that convenes in Copenhagen, in December 2009.
UNEP FI, which will lead the banking, insurance and investment input to
the Copenhagen summit, will provide a summary report to CleanEquity 2010
participants exploring the implications for the cleantech industry of the
intergovernmental meeting in Denmark.
The Hugin Group, a NYSE Euronext company, will extend its support next
year. Hugin enables companies to distribute their press releases in local
languages to professional investors and media throughout the world.
Companies selected to present at CleanEquity will receive the invaluable
benefit of special complimentary access to the Hugin network.
In order to maintain CleanEquity's reputation for quality, cleantech
company applicants will be selected using the following criteria:
management leadership ability and experience; pre/post proof of concept
or likelihood thereof; robust and verified intellectual property; and
revenue potential.
All presenting companies will be eligible for one of the prestigious
international CleanEquity awards; as presented by His Serene Highness
Prince Albert II of Monaco. Winners and runners up of the CleanEquity
awards are automatically guaranteed a presenting role at the following
conference. CleanEquity 2009 award winners Cardia Bioplastics (formerly
Biograde - Australia), Hansen Industries (USA) and Solar ETC (USA), will
be welcomed back once again to present in March 2010.
