Three New Verizon Wireless Authorized Retail Locations Now Open in Westchester

One-Stop Shopping for Verizon Wireless Products and Services

ORANGEBURG, N.Y., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless today announced the
opening of three new authorized retail outlets in Westchester County making
shopping for the company's wireless voice and data products more convenient
for local residents and businesses. The three new stores now offering a wide
variety of wireless phones, accessories and service from Verizon Wireless are:

-- Paging Concepts located in the Jefferson Valley Mall on 650 Lee Blvd.
in
Yorktown Heights. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m.
to
9:30 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
-- Paging Concepts in the Galleria Mall at 100 Main Street in White
Plains.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and
Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

-- United Telecom at 302 Fifth Ave. in Pelham. Store hours are Monday
through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5:00
p.m.

The two new Paging Concepts stores are owned by Adam Gitlitz, a Verizon
Wireless authorized retailer for the past 16 years with 17 locations in the
New York Metro area.

United Telecom, in Pelham, is owned by Harpreet Katari who has been a Verizon
Wireless authorized retailer for seven years and now has 23 locations in the
New York Metro area.

Customers may activate Verizon Wireless service at the new stores and shop for
the latest in wireless technology including popular devices like the
BlackBerry(R) Storm(TM) and new service features including Verizon Wireless
Friends & Family(R) which lets customers on eligible calling plans enjoy
unlimited calling to up to 10 numbers on any network, anytime, anywhere in
America without using plan minutes.

Verizon Wireless authorized retailers receive extensive training, as well as
merchandising support and competitive commissions, after successfully
completing a highly selective qualification process. Authorized retailers
play a key role in the company's retail sales distribution strategy which
includes approximately 2,000 company-owned and operated Verizon Wireless
Communications Stores nationwide.

Currently the company is looking for bilingual English-Spanish speaking
entrepreneurs interested in joining the Verizon Wireless authorized agent team
