Sweden says Koenigsegg's Saab plans still unclear

STOCKHOLM, June 25 (Reuters) - Sweden's industry minister said on Thursday the government remained in the dark on how much funds Koenigsegg Group, the new owner of Saab Automobile, would inject in the carmaker and if loan guarantees would be needed.

"We still don't have any information about the amount of money they are willing to invest. And that is a key point. The other is the ability to lead the company," Industry Minister Maud Olofsson said in a Reuters interview.

Last week Koenigsegg, a Swedish niche manufacturer of expensive sports cars, struck a deal to buy loss-making General Motors GMGMQ.PK unit Saab Automobile, backed by U.S. and Norwegian investors.
