Global Equity

The Company announces that, on 26 June 2009, it repurchased 44,500 Global
Equity shares of 1p each at 82.735p per share, to be held as Treasury shares.

The total number of Global Equity Shares held in Treasury following this
repurchase is 2,771,964.

The total number of Global Equity Shares of 1p each remaining in issue
(excluding 2,771,964 Global Equity Shares of 1p each held in Treasury) is
35,851,368.

Managed Liquidity Shares

The Company announces that, on 26 June 2009, it repurchased 36,000 Managed
Liquidity Shares of 1p each at 98.3p per share to be held as Treasury shares.

The total number of Managed Liquidity Shares held in Treasury following this
repurchase is 972,595.

The total number of Managed Liquidity Shares of 1p each remaining in issue
(excluding 972,595 Managed Liquidity Shares of 1p each held in Treasury) is
18,949,100.
