Hooters of North Lakeland to Open Remodeled Restaurant on July 1st ATLANTA, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hooters of North Lakeland was closed for renovation in May and is now ready to open the completely remodeled store to residents on July 1st. The new location is nearly twice as big as the original restaurant with over $1 million invested into the building and upgraded features. The original location, which opened in February of 1995, was completely torn down for the renovation. In addition to the increased size, the new and improved Hooters restaurant offers additional seating for 300 guests, 25 flat screen plasma HD televisions, a full liquor island bar, 22 degree beer, a seasonal patio equipped with an outside bar and more parking to accommodate the Hooters customers in the central Florida area.
