Spectrum Pharmaceuticals Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Spectrum Pharmaceuticals (NasdaqGM: SPPI), a commercial-stage biotechnology
company with two proprietary, FDA-approved oncology drugs on the market,
announced the results of its annual meeting of shareholders, which was held
today at the Company`s global corporate headquarters in Irvine, California.

With more than 83% of the votes cast, shareholders re-elected all six of the
Company`s nominees to the Board of Directors. In addition, shareholders approved
the adoption of the 2009 Employee Stock Purchase Plan and the 2009 Incentive
Award Plan.
