NEW YORK, June 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AllianceBernstein National
Municipal Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: AFB), a registered closed-end investment
company, today announced earnings for the Fund's second fiscal quarter ended
April 30, 2009.
Total net assets of the Fund* on April 30, 2009 were $598,990,456, as compared
with $577,863,677 on January 31, 2009 and $697,224,313 on April 30, 2008. On
April 30, 2009, the net asset value per share of common stock was $12.45 based
on 28,656,080 shares of common stock outstanding.
