Bomb threat shuts down Bangladesh stock exchange

DHAKA, June 29 (Reuters) - Authorities in Bangladesh shut down the Dhaka stock exchange .DSI an hour earlier than scheduled on Monday, following a bomb threat, an official said.

"We received a threat over telephone from an anonymous caller that the stock building will be blown off soon because there is a bomb kept inside it," the official at the stock exchange said.

He said bomb experts were searching the building.
