Cynthia (Dohmen) LaConte Announces New Corporate Location, New Executive Team
Members
MILWAUKEE--(Business Wire)--
Cynthia (Dohmen) LaConte has been named CEO of Dohmen (formerly known as The F.
Dohmen Co.) a healthcare services company, family-held for more than 150 years.

LaConte concurrently holds presidency titles for Dohmen Investment Group and The
F. Dohmen Co. Foundation, having incepted and launched both entities in 2008.
Prior to assuming the role of CEO, she served as Dohmen`s Chief Operating
Officer (COO) from 2006 - 2008, advancing the sale of Dohmen`s $2 billion
wholesale division, reorganizing the company post-transaction and redefining its
strategy.

Training Ground

LaConte joined The F. Dohmen Co. in 1988 serving as the Vice President of
Purchasing for its wholesale division. In 1995, she launched a joint venture
with Obergfel Brothers, a West Coast third party logistics company co-investing
in a new distribution center located in Memphis, TN. After acquiring Obergfel,
the following year, she founded DDN Pharmaceutical Logistics. While serving as
DDN`s President, LaConte launched more than a dozen service lines to life
science companies, including order to cash, contract management, reverse
logistics and sample processing. By 2006, when LaConte left DDN to become the
COO of Dohmen, more than $3 billion of pharmaceutical product was being
processed from nearly half a million square feet of space located in Tennessee
and California. DDN remains a division of the Dohmen Company, along with RESTAT,
a prescription benefit management company.

Controlling Healthcare Costs

The first female CEO of Dohmen, LaConte said she views her latest challenge as
the need to once again redefine the company founded by her great,
great-grandfather. "Through the decades, Dohmen has successfully adapted to meet
the evolving needs of the healthcare supply system. We`ve always had the courage
and creativity to change what we do, without changing who we are," she adds.
"Our mission for more than 150 years has been to improve the wellbeing of our
communities by efficiently connecting people with healthcare products and
services. We did that in 1858 with a storefront pharmacy in Milwaukee, and we do
that today through our two national subsidiaries, DDN and RESTAT. RESTAT helps
self-funded employers better manage their healthcare spend and DDN helps life
science manufacturers get their product to market safely and efficiently. In the
future, we`ll continue to grow and diversify by investing in healthcare service
companies that are committed to making the healthcare system more efficient and
affordable."

Dohmen Corporate Office Moves to Location of Significance

In 1858 Friedrich Dohmen founded the F. Dohmen Company (a retail pharmacy) in a
prime location -- situated on the river wharves with frontage along Milwaukee`s
premier business street -- bearing the address, 263 East Water Street.

More than 150-years later, his great, great granddaughter, Cynthia LaConte has
chosen to relocate the company`s corporate offices from its former Germantown
address to 215 North Water Street in Milwaukee`s historic Third Ward, just steps
away from the Company`s first business address.

New Executive Positions Created

As part of Dohmen`s restructuring effort, LaConte has announced the addition of
two new positions:

Chief Performance Officer (CPO), Bill von Rohr

Bill von Rohr joined Dohmen Corporate in May, 2009 as CPO, having previously
served as VP, Human Resources and Corporate Development for Dohmen subsidiary,
DDN. von Rohr will help facilitate cross-divisional initiatives and establish
processes to ensure performance excellence across the enterprise.

Since 1997, his strategic leadership roles at DDN focused upon a wide range of
responsibilities including; staff development and training programs, information
systems and data management, regulatory compliance, needs analysis, client
services and implementations, facility and SAS-70 audits, systems validation and
Quality Assurance process development. Prior to joining DDN, von Rohr was
employed as Director of Information Systems for The Mutual Group, a health and
life insurance company. von Rohr received a Bachelor of Science degree in
education with a minor in physics from Illinois State University.

Vice President, Corporate Communications, Carole Pfeil

As VP of Corporate Communications, Pfeil will focus on external and internal
communications, including public relations initiatives on behalf of the F.
Dohmen Foundation, Dohmen, and its divisions; DDN and RESTAT. In addition, she
will work to ensure branding and messaging consistency while improving two-way
communications throughout the enterprise.

Most recently Pfeil served as the Director of Public Relations for Avicom
Marketing Communications. Earlier, she worked in communications roles specific
to the Pharmaceutical and PBM spaces, including serving as Director of Business
Development and Marketing for Innovative Health Strategies (IHS) a division of
IMS Health. Earlier positions include; Director of PR for Waldbillig & Besteman
Advertising, Manager of Communications and Public Affairs for Bull HN (a global
I.T. services and solutions provider) and News Director for WEMI-radio. Pfeil
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of
Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

About Dohmen: Headquartered in Milwaukee, Dohmen is a fifth-generation,
family-owned healthcare services business. Founded in 1858 as a retail pharmacy,
Dohmen has steadily expanded its reach and capabilities, continually meeting
market needs while adapting to the ever-changing healthcare delivery landscape.
Today, Dohmen`s portfolio of service offerings includes outsourced business
services to life science manufacturers through DDN, and benefit management
services to life science payers through RESTAT. Dohmen is driven by a desire to
make the healthcare supply system more efficient and affordable - continuing the
family`s healthcare service commitment -- upheld for more than 150 years.
