Women in Technology Announces 2009-2010 Leadership

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(Business Wire)-- Women in Technology (WITSM), the premier organization contributing to the success of professional women in the Washington technology community, today announced its 2009-2010 Board of Directors. Members in attendance at the June 18, 2009 general meeting elected the Board to serve for the 2009-2010 year. "As WIT`s incoming President, I look forward to energizing and mobilizing our membership to make an impact on the D.C.-Metro technology industry," said Toni Townes-Whitley, President, WIT. "Building on the dedication and hard work of our past WIT leadership, the incoming officers and committee chairs will continue to lead the charge for the advancement of girls and women in the technology industry through innovative programs, networking, mentoring, job fairs and executive coaching."
