JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Axcess Corp (OTC
Bulletin Board: GAXC) (the "Company"), an independent provider of self-service
kiosk solutions, today is providing an update on the Company's sales
initiatives.
Mr. George McQuain, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated, "I am
excited to provide an update on our progress in both our ATM sales and in our
new self-service kiosk initiative. In early 2009 we retooled and refocused our
sales team to include the hiring of two seasoned sales professionals. As a
result of these efforts, we now have a very robust sales pipeline and have
seen an increase in the amount of request for proposals relating to new
business opportunities. I am pleased to announce the following sales
accomplishments:
1. We closed two new ATM placement deals for a combined 61 new ATMs;
2. We expanded an existing client relationship by 65 new placement ATMs;
3. We renewed a major client's placement contract for five years;
4. We closed a bank branding deal on select ATMs in Texas;
5. We renewed an existing financial institution outsourcing deal on ATMs;
and
6. We signed 3 pilot deals for our self-kiosk business. We expect that
the
installation of these kiosks will begin the week of June 29th.
In total, we estimate that the sales accomplishments on the ATM side will add
or maintain an estimated $110,000+ per month to our gross profit. I
anticipate that these deals are just the first of many more to come.
I look forward to providing further updates as we continue to make progress on
our sales and marketing initiatives."
