MAJEDIE INVESTMENTS PLC

The Company has today been advised that Mr A J Adcock, a Director of the
Company, acquired on 29 June 2009, 10,000 ordinary shares of 10p each
(representing 0.02% of the issued class of capital) at a price of 163.00p each.

Mr A J Adcock is now deemed to have a disclosable interest in 20,000 shares,
representing 0.04% of the issued share capital.
