The event, hosted by the non-profit organization, the World Affairs
Council of Orange County, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30 at the
Edwards Westpark 8 at 3755 Alton Parkway, Irvine Ca. 92606. The movie
"The Stoning of Soraya M." will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Q & A
presentation with our special guests: Cyrus Nowrasteh, the film's
director and Academy Award Nominee and Lead Actress Shohreh Aghdashloo.

    The film is directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh and stars Academy Award nominee
Shohreh Aghdashloo. "Stoning" had its world premiere at the Toronto
International Film Festival, where it was the runner-up for the Audience
Choice Award and was the second runner-up for the Cadillac People's Choice
Award.
