U.S. Army Vice Chief of Staff General Peter Chiarelli Confirmed as Featured
Speaker at MILCOM 2009; On-Line Conference Registration Now Available
MILCOM papers, tutorials and panel discussions include breakthrough solutions
for next-generation military, government and homeland security communications.
TAUNTON, Mass., June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- MILCOM 2009, the premier international
conference on military communications has confirmed that Vice Chief of Staff
of the U.S. Army, Gen. Peter Chiarelli, is the keynote speaker for the
Wednesday, October 21, 2009 luncheon event. The keynote address aligns with
the conference's technical program that highlights the convergence of
communication technologies used by the military, government and homeland
security operations. MILCOM 2009 takes place October 18 though 21, 2009 at the
Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center in Boston Massachusetts. Conference

There are more than 400 technical papers, 10 tutorials and workshops and 11
panel discussions scheduled for the conference. Presented by recognized
authorities and technical experts, the classified (U.S. Secret and below) and
unclassified sessions will cover topics including:

-- Securing, managing and using networks
-- Systems perspectives
In addition to the technical program, more than 200 exhibits will be
co-located in the World Trade Center exhibit hall. Special events including

2009 conference agenda.
General Dynamics C4 Systems and MITRE Corporation are the hosts of MILCOM
2009. It is co-sponsored by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics
Association (AFCEA) International and the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Communications Society. The Electronic Systems
Center, Hanscom AFB has provided a liaison to advise MILCOM 2009.
