Dreyfus High Yield Strategies Fund Declares Dividend

NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
On June 29, 2009, the Board of Trustees of Dreyfus High Yield Strategies Fund
(NYSE: DHF) declared from net investment income a monthly cash dividend of $0.03
per share of beneficial interest, payable on July 28, 2009 to shareholders of
record at the close of business on July 14, 2009. The ex-dividend date is July
10, 2009. The previous dividend declared in May was $0.03 per share of
beneficial interest.
