TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The very first live Narconon graduation broadcast on the Internet, took place last Friday, June 26, to help celebrate the United Nations International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This was the very first time a Narconon drug rehab center had publicly broadcast a Narconon graduation ceremony. The live feed started with different public service announcements from former graduates supporting the International Day Against Drugs and then went live to the actual graduation ceremony. Featured in the video are three graduates of the Narconon drug rehab program who all accepted program completion certificates that day. The night before the live broadcast, invitations were sent out through different social media networks and mailing lists. Because the families of these three graduates live so far away, it was an excellent opportunity for them to see how far their loved ones have come. "It was a great opportunity to give the general public and family members of these graduates an inside look into an actual graduation ceremony at a Narconon drug rehab center," comments Nick Hayes, deputy director of marketing and promotion at Narconon Trois-Rivieres. "It is also very important to see real people who have battled addiction for so many years finally regain control over their lives, and reunite with their families." Narconon Trois-Rivieres is working to have these live broadcasts of their graduation ceremonies become a regular event. This was the first time something like this had ever been done within the Narconon network, which comprises of close to 150 different rehab and prevention centers in over 40 different countries. The Narconon Trois-Rivieres drug rehab program has been located in Quebec, Canada for ten years, and receives clientele from all over North America and many European countries.
