Left Behind Games Signs Agreement for Exclusive Inspirational Online Game Portal

TEMECULA, CA, Jun 29 (MARKET WIRE) --
Left Behind Games Inc. (OTCBB: LFBG), dba Inspired Media Entertainment,
announced that its entire line of games, together with hundreds of other
family friendly games, will soon be available to purchase and download
through their exclusive inspirational online game store portal. The
company has been working on this project for several months, and an
agreement to provide the online streaming software has been signed. The
design and marketing strategy is well underway and LFBG expects the
website will be operational sometime in July.
This coincides with LFBG's hiring marketing representatives to focus
primarily on sales to over 300,000 churches in America alone. Left Behind
Games CEO Troy Lyndon says that "The company's goal is to establish an
affiliate network with at least one percent of the churches -- just 3,000
-- that would produce an average sales of 50 games per church a year
within three years. This alone would generate supplemental revenue of $3
million a year, but more importantly, will provide parents with a healthy
alternative for their children." A portion of the profits would be given
to the churches as an incentive for them to encourage their congregations
to go to the Inspired Media online store where both LFBG and their church
would profit from not only the sale of Left Behind Games, but also from
hundreds of other family friendly games.
Inspired Media games have received positive support from well respected
leaders in the Christian community including the Billy Graham Evangelistic
Association and Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church, one of the largest churches
in the US. With mega-sized ministries and churches abounding in this
country, the marketing goal mentioned above, though speculative, could
very well be within reach.
Since the release of LEFT BEHIND: Tribulation Forces for worldwide
distribution through mainstream markets on June 15th, new avenues for
sales have developed quickly. Tribulation Forces is the sequel to the
original game, LEFT BEHIND: Eternal Forces, which is the most widely
distributed Christian PC game in history. In addition, Inspired Media has
three Charlie Church Mouse Games for pre-school, kindergarten and early
elementary players, as well as Keys to The Kingdom. See
www.inspiredmedia.com & www.supportgoodgames.com.
Prices for the games will be the same as for in-store purchases, with
perhaps the exception of special sales and promotions. Yet, with the
recent addition of Wal-Mart test sites and the expectation that the games
will soon be available through military exchanges (see recent press
releases for details), prices are anticipated to be comparable wherever
the public decides to shop.
Overall, the sale of PC games has grown exponentially. According to a
recent CNBC News report, even though we are in a recession, computer game
sales continue to soar. PricewaterhouseCoopers, known for their astute
analysis of business conditions and trends, predicts that the sale of
software video games will reach $21.6 Billion by 2013 in the US alone.
With these projections in mind, and with additional outlets through
Wal-Mart and Military Exchanges, an on-line marketing portal and an
aggressive marketing plan in place for new sales reps, LFBG is
anticipating an explosive marketing surge.
Lyndon says that "In contrast to almost all other PC games, Inspired Media
games encourage positive decisions and actions. Rather than the usual
'winning' by using weapons and killing the enemy, players are rewarded
when their characters use the power of influence to bring about good
rather than destruction."
He believes that the approach incorporated in all of the Inspired Media
games can help to counteract the violence affecting gamers who at times
have acted out aggressively in real life. Due to the positive thought
patterns encouraged by the games, he would like to be contacted by anyone
in a prison ministry who might be interested in obtaining a grant to
enable the Keys to the Kingdom game -- along with the equipment to play
it -- to be placed in prisons for rehabilitative purposes.
Tribulation Forces has significant new features and improvements including
maps and missions. The game includes 45 single player missions including
tutorials and an all-new skirmish mode to be played alone or with up to
seven friends online. There are 39 skirmish battle multiplayer maps and
three different multiplayer modes of play.
There are still openings for commissioned sales representatives. Anyone
interested in working for LFBG can go to www.inspiredmedia.com/reps and
provide their contact information. Although the company's major thrust at
this time is to reach churches, there are many other potential markets for
these games including schools, fundraisers and game stores, as well as
retailers such Walgreens, Kmart, Target, and Albertson's to name a few.
Watch for up-to-date news reports to keep abreast of additional marketing
sources, new games, and opportunities for investors as well as marketing
representatives.
