Metropolitan Health Networks Joins the Russell 3000® and Russell Global® Indices

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(Business Wire)-- Metropolitan Health Networks, Inc. (NYSE AMEX: MDF), a leading provider of healthcare services in Florida, today announced that the company has been added to the Russell 3000® and the Russell Global® Indices, following Russell Investment Group`s annual reconstitution of its family of indices on June 26, 2009. The Russell 3000 Index measures the performance of the largest 3000 U.S. companies representing approximately 98% of the investable U.S. equity market and serves as the U.S. component to the Russell Global Index.
