Suspect Detection Systems Inc. Completes Sale of Cogito Interrogation
Technology to Private Diamond Enterprise in Africa
Screening of Industry Employees can Lead to a Reduction of Internal Diamond
Theft; Company's Second Sale of Crime Prevention Technology to Private
Enterprise

NEW YORK, June 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Suspect Detection Systems
Inc. (SDSS.OB), a leading developer of counterterror and crime prevention
technology, announced today the sale of the Cogito automated interrogation
system to a commercial Diamond Mining Enterprise operating in a major African
nation.
The technology will be utilized by the company for the human resource
screenings of employees working within the country's lucrative diamond mining
industry. The rapid interrogation system is able to expose the hostile intent
of employees who may be involved in diamond theft with a high degree of
accuracy.
While the system has been sold to multiple federal law enforcement and
military agencies across the world, the system is also being utilized in the
private sector. Cogito has been purchased by human resource companies and
other private enterprises involved in the acquisition, sale and distribution
of particularly valuable commodities. The sale is the second to a private
enterprise in the past two months.
"Diamond theft is a major issue in the diamond mining industry, leaving a
sizeable mark on companies' profit and loss sheets," said Suspect Detection
Systems Ltd. CEO Shabtai Shoval.
"Based on the dialogue we had with our customer, we were able to
customize the Cogito system to identify the threat of internal diamond theft.
The ability to detect employees involved in criminal activity can lead to a
reduction in theft, and acts as a deterrent against future criminal
activity," Shoval added.
