Allied Data Selects Ikanos' Processors for Next-Generation Enterprise and Residential Gateways

Ikanos Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: IKAN), a leading provider of
advanced broadband semiconductor and software products for the digital
home, today announced that Allied Data Technologies, a Dutch manufacturer
of datacom and other communications equipment, has selected Ikanos' high
performance Fusiv(R) Vx180 gateway processor for integration into its
most advanced residential and small-to-medium enterprise (SME)-class
gateways. The Ikanos-based VDSL2 multi-play gateways are targeted for
deployment in IP-enabled multi-service VDSL2 access networks throughout
Asia, Western Europe and the United States.
