VANCOUVER, WA, Jun 30 (MARKET WIRE) --
CRU-DataPort(TM) recently received accolades for its global leadership in
data security and data mobility solutions by ranking 15th in The Portland
Business Journal's 2009 list of 'Fastest Growing Private 100 Companies.'
The notably high ranking for CRU is due to a 162% growth in revenue over
a three-year period. Since 1986, DataPort(R) removable drive enclosures
have been the de facto standard for physical data security and safe data
portability in government, education and business markets. The Portland
Business Journal's sold out annual event was held on June 18, 2009 at the
Portland Art Museum.

"We are honored to receive this award for the second consecutive year,"
said Randal Barber, CEO of CRU-DataPort. "We consistently respond to
market needs and strive to deliver cutting edge products to our customers.
Additional components contributing to CRU growth are the sharp internal
team and the mutually beneficial relationships we've forged with our
distributors and value added resellers." It is a true testament to the
team at CRU for sustaining growth in these challenging economic times.

In June 2009, CRU-DataPort announced new digital forensics, data security
and data storage products at the Techno Security conference in Myrtle
Beach, SC including hardware based encryption, a portable drive imager and
a write-blocked forensic tool, the USB WriteBlocker(TM). WiebeTech, a
brand of CRU-DataPort, created the new USB WriteBlocker after heeding many
requests from digital forensic investigators and law enforcement agencies
for an easy to use, economical write-blocked device to support USB. The
USB WriteBlocker is the smallest forensic solution on the market to limit
access on any USB Mass Storage device to read-only. It operates via USB
bus power, supports VID/PID discovery and provides data transfer rates
15-25% faster than competing products.

Hardware-based encryption makes the new CRU DataPort(TM) 10 Secure an
ideal solution for protecting sensitive data on a HDD. This rugged
enclosure enables the drive to be removed, or "Hot-Swapped," for data
backup, transporting and archiving; while a government approved AES 128
high-speed encryption processor secures the contents of the entire drive
without affecting computer performance.
