Growing Demand for Aftermarket Service and Repeated Recognition of MCA`s
Innovative Service Parts Planning Solution Validate the Company`s Market
Leadership

PHILADELPHIA--(Business Wire)--
MCA Solutions, the leader in service parts planning and optimization, is being
recognized as a top supply chain company on this year`s Supply & Demand Chain
Executive 100. This marks the fourth time MCA has been named to this prestigious
list, which speaks to MCA`s ongoing commitment to developing innovative
technology to help major organizations improve their service businesses, cut
costs and drive new revenue.

"Smart manufacturers know that service is critical to their success, especially
in times like these when new product revenue is less certain," said Bob
Salvucci, president and CEO of MCA Solutions. "We`re expanding our customer base
in our traditional industries as well as new industries, including oil and gas
products and services. While requirements vary, all of our customers are finding
more ways to deliver value from their aftermarket service offering."

MCA recently surveyed more than 30 executives at leading companies across
several core industries, and found that:

* Semiconductor equipment companies are struggling the most. Demand for new
products has continued to drop (by more than 50% compared to last year),
increasing their focus on aftermarket services, which are now driving a much
higher percentage of total revenue.
* Aerospace and Defense organizations reported a reduction in the number of
flying hours generated by their customers, which has reduced spare parts
consumption, and therefore, revenue. Many A&D organizations are launching new
service offerings, such as performance-based logistics (PBL) or "power by the
hour" aftermarket support programs.
* Medical equipment companies don`t appear to be as affected by the economy, but
are relying more heavily on aftermarket service to support existing customers.
* Automotive companies are clearly struggling to sell new cars. Consumers are
extending the usage of products, generating increased revenue through service
and parts.
* Oil and Gas equipment companies are seeing the fluctuating demand for new
equipment sales, based on oil and energy prices, but have seen significant
opportunities in offering aftermarket services that ensure their customers can
maintain high utilization of their equipment.

"Our readers are looking for solutions and best practices for enabling the
supply chain to weather the current economic storm, and also to position
themselves for growth when recovery takes hold," said Andy K. Reese, editor of
Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Our goal with this year's `100` is to
highlight a broad range of solutions and services targeted at a variety of
industries, addressing the needs of companies of varying sizes, and assisting in
the transformation of a diverse mix of the functions that make up the supply
chain."

MCA Solutions has spent years helping major manufacturers like Boeing, Bobst
Group and the U.S. Navy, in good economic times and bad, increase product
availability, reduce costs and generate new revenue by effectively planning and
placing spare parts throughout global distribution networks.
