                   Total Voting Rights: Month-end Disclosure                   

In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the
Company advises that as at 30 June 2009 its issued share capital consists of
248,035,812 ordinary shares of 25p nominal value with voting rights.

The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore as at 30 June 2009 the total number of voting rights in the Company
is 248,035,812.

The above figure of 248,035,812 may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Collins Stewart plc
under the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
