The Andersons Names Anderson as Corporate Vice President

MAUMEE, Ohio, June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Andersons, Inc. (Nasdaq:
ANDE) has named Daniel T. Anderson as President, Retail Group, and Vice
President, Corporate Operations Services.

Anderson is retaining his current position as President, Retail Group and is
assuming a new corporate-level position, which was created in part due to the
retirement of Dale W. Fallat, Vice President, Corporate Services, who is
ending his 42-year tenure with the company.

In his new role, Anderson will oversee the Retail operations as well as
corporate engineering, safety, sourcing and procurement, continuous
improvement and facility services.

An employee of The Andersons since 1979, Anderson has served as the President,
Retail Group since 1996. During his time with the company, Anderson has served
in a variety of retail and operations positions.

Anderson holds a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, Columbus,
and an honorary doctorate degree from Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio.
Anderson resides in Maumee, Ohio, with his wife. The couple has eight
children.

In a related move, Tamara S. Sparks has assumed an expanded role as Vice
President, Corporate Relations & Business Analysis, adding corporate
communications, community involvement and enterprise risk management to her
responsibilities.
