Northern Europe's Leading Airline Group Selects RSA(R) Data Loss Prevention
Suite to Secure Its Information Assets

SAS Group Chooses Security Division of EMC to Help Discover and Protect
Sensitive Customer Data Throughout Large and Complex IT Environment

BEDFORD, Mass., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- RSA, The Security Division of EMC
(NYSE: EMC), today announced that SAS Group, the leading airline group in
Northern Europe, has selected the RSA(R) Data Loss Prevention Suite to help
discover and secure sensitive information that resides within the SAS IT
environment.

The SAS Group has an extensive IT infrastructure from large datacenters to
many smaller remote sites. With 40 million passengers and 831 daily departures
in 2008, SAS processes and stores vast amounts of sensitive data such as
customers' Personally Identifiable Information, passenger lists, payment
information, and business information, throughout this complex IT environment.
To help protect this data and ensure regulatory compliance, SAS required an
integrated and scalable data loss prevention solution that could efficiently
identify sensitive data no matter where it resides and take the necessary
actions to secure it.

"As more information within SAS is stored, processed and communicated across
various platforms and applications, the task of identifying where sensitive
data is and applying security measures to protect it is becoming increasingly
challenging," said Goran Ostberg, Director SAS Group IT security. "With the
RSA Data Loss Prevention Suite, we can efficiently scan our IT environment to
identify where sensitive information lies, apply the proper controls to
protect it, remove it or replace it, thereby helping to reduce the risk of its
loss."

The RSA Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Suite is an integrated suite of data
security products that are engineered to leverage common policies across the
infrastructure to discover and protect sensitive data from loss, leakage or
misuse in a datacenter, on the network, and on endpoints.

"After evaluating several DLP solution providers, we were particularly
impressed with RSA because of its honest and open approach to understanding
our needs and requirements. It presented a dedicated and professional team
that showed us the level of collaboration we could expect from an ongoing
relationship with RSA," said Ostberg. "Based on our product reviews, we
found the RSA Data Loss Prevention Suite to be the most comprehensive solution
and, with its advanced classification capabilities, it was the most accurate
in identifying sensitive data. The fact that we can use DLP to discover
sensitive data on Microsoft Sharepoint(R) and other Microsoft(R) applications
that we use at SAS was an important factor in our selection process as well."

The RSA DLP Suite provides one of the most comprehensive data loss prevention
policy and classification libraries in the industry with more than 122
different policy templates. Leveraging RSA's pre-built policy and
classification library, customers like SAS can reduce risk by securing more
types of sensitive data while reducing the costs associated with false
positives.

"Our customers associate the SAS brand with reliability and trust," said
Ostberg. "Our alignment with RSA demonstrates to our customers that we are
fully committed to a customer satisfaction strategy that includes protecting
their Personally Identifiable Information."

"Protecting sensitive information is mission critical to today's large
enterprises, particularly those that store sizeable amounts of Personally
Identifiable Information" said Chris Johnson, Vice President EMEA at RSA, The
Security Division of EMC. "We look forward to working closely with SAS Group
to manage information risk by proactively locating and controlling sensitive
information as it lives, moves and transforms throughout the IT environment."

The SAS Group is the leading airline group in Northern Europe, offering air
transportation and airline-related services. Scandinavian Airlines and Blue1
are members of Star Alliance(TM), the world's largest airline alliance. The
Group also includes the airline Wideroe, as well as the partly owned airline
Estonian Air. SAS EuroBonus, founded in 1992, is the SAS Group's loyalty
program with more than 3.5 million members. In 2008, the SAS Group transported
40 million passengers to over 150 destinations. Read more at www.sasgroup.net.
