US consumer confidence rebounds in latest week-ABC
NEW YORK, June 30 (Reuters) - ABC News said on Tuesday its weekly index on consumer confidence in the United States rose two points, though it was still deep in negative territory.
The Consumer Comfort Index rose to -51 in the week ended June 28 after a -53 reading the prior week.
The index reached its all-time low of -54 in the week ended Jan. 25, 2009. It previously reached that level in the week ended Dec. 1, 2008.

The ABC News consumer confidence survey was based on a sample of about 1,000 interviews conducted in the four weeks ending June 28 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. (U.S. Treasury desk; Tel: 646-223-6300)
