US delays decision on Honduras aid until July 6

WASHINGTON, July 1 | Wed Jul 1, 2009 4:24pm EDT

WASHINGTON, July 1 (Reuters) - The United States will wait until at least July 6 before taking a decision on whether to cut off aid to Honduras following the coup that ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya, a senior Obama administration official said on Wednesday.
