India's Punj Lloyd gets Libya orders worth $392 mln

MUMBAI, July 2 (Reuters) - Indian engineering and construction firm Punj Lloyd (PUJL.BO) said on Thursday it had won three contracts to build urban infrastructure in Libya, worth a total of 18.73 billion rupees ($392 million).

As a result, the company's order backlog has climbed to 239.4 billion rupees, Punj Lloyd said in a statement.

Earlier on Thursday, Punj Lloyd announced its unit had won an order worth 12.63 billion rupees to build two metro train stations in Singapore. [ID:nBOM507107] ($1= 47.8 rupees) (Reporting by Prashant Mehra; Editing by Lincoln Feast)
