ALGIERS, July 7 (Reuters) - U.S. aircraft maker Boeing (BA.N) and Brazilian planemaker Embraer (EMBR3.SA) have won deals worth a total of $333 million to supply Algeria's oil company Sonatrach subsidiary with seven planes, Sonatrach said on Tuesday.

Boeing secured an $228.5 million deal to sell to Tassili Airlines, an affiliate of Sonatrach, four 150-seat planes, Sonatrach said in a statement on its website.

Embraer will supply three 100-seat jets for $104.68 million, it said, adding that the bids were opened on Monday.

Other bidders for the order included Airbus (EAD.PA) and Canada's Bombardier Inc (BBDb.TO) (BBDa.TO).

Sonatrach said bids for two other 70-seat planes were "unfruitful" and another tendering competition would be launched shortly.

The main role of Tassili Airlines is transporting people working in Algeria's energy industry but it plans to expand operations with domestic and international passenger flights. (Reporting by Hamid Ould Ahmed; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
