 *ANKARA - President Abdullah Gul to meet Osman Baydemir,
mayor of Diyarbakir, the largest city in the mainly Kurdish
southeast of Turkey.
 
 MONDAY, JULY 13
 ANKARA - Treasury auctions six-month, or 182-day,
lira-denominated discount bond.
 *ANKARA - An intergovernmental accord for the Nabucco
natural gas pipeline to be signed. The pipeline, conceived to
relieve European dependence on Russian gas, is expected to bring
Caspian and Middle East gas to Europe as early as 2014.
Representatives from Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and
Austria, the five countries through which the pipeline is
planned to run will sign the accord.

lira-denominated discount bond and five-year, or 1,771-day, tap
of CPI-indexed bond.
