G & F Concrete Cutting Nominated as Southern California Minority Business
Development Council Supplier of the Year
Santa Ana firm acknowledged for its commitment to excellence and its support
of other Minority Business Enterprises.

SANTA ANA, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- G & F Concrete Cutting, a Santa Ana
based non-explosive demolition and concrete removal firm, has been nominated
for the Southern California Minority Business Development Council's (SCMBDC)
Supplier of the Year award by Union Bank of California. The winners of this
prestigious award will be announced at an annual luncheon honoring outstanding
certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) on Thursday, July 9, at 11:00
am at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles. This year's guest speaker is Dr. Linda
A. Livingstone, Dean of Pepperdine University's renowned Graziadio School of
Business and Management.

"All of us at G & F make it our business every day to be a valued resource to
the companies who count on us to literally remove the obstacles in their way,"
said Rita Vigil-Ferguson, President of G & F Concrete Cutting. "As a
second-time nominee, we are doubly honored and twice as humbled by this
incredible acknowledgement from Union Bank of California and SCMBDC."

The nomination process for Supplier of the Year is as stringent as the MBE
certification itself, requiring the nominee to "tell the story" of its
business, show sales and market growth in a two-year comparison of employment
and job creation.

The nominee must also describe company activities that contribute to the
betterment of other MBEs, such as mentoring programs and participation in
other minority organizations and advocacy groups. Awards are presented in
four categories determined by annual sales.

G & F Concrete Cutting is one of Southern California's foremost leaders in
non-explosive, mass concrete demolition, providing modern solutions in
concrete cutting, drilling, rigging, and removal for nearly 30 years. The
immense experience of G & F's expert engineers, project managers, and
construction technicians, coupled with its state-of-the-art equipment, enables
this MBE/WMBE to consistently exceed the needs of its public and private
sector partners.
