Insurance Educational Association Names Chairman, Three New Board Members

Leading Professional Education Organization Continues Expansion

SANTA ANA, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Insurance Educational
Association (IEA), a leading provider of professional education, today
announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors. 
Industry innovators Jack Reddy, Guy A. Avagliano, Louis H. Castoria, and
William Riedley join other IEA leaders as the IEA expands its educational
offerings and industry partnerships.

Incoming Chairman Jack Reddy is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for
Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. Argo Group, based in San Antonio,
Texas, is a $1.5 billion publicly traded international underwriter of
specialty insurance and reinsurance products in niche areas of the property
and casualty market.   The company's innovative and responsible approach to
managing its business and the employees who grow it has resulted in consistent
increases in market penetration and financial strength. 

Guy A. Avagliano is a Principal and Consulting Actuary of Milliman, one of the
world's largest independent actuarial and consulting firms.  Mr. Avagliano has
substantial experience with many property and liability lines of business,
including workers' compensation, professional liability, and contractors
liability. He serves on numerous industry committees, including the Actuarial
Committee of the State of California's Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating
Bureau.  Mr. Avagliano is a frequent speaker at local, national, and
international seminars on loss reserving, ratemaking, and reinsurance topics.

Louis H. Castoria is the Assistant Managing Partner of Wilson, Elser,
Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP, a full-service law firm with clients in the
United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia.  Domestically, the firm is
ranked among the top law firms identified by The American Lawyer and listed in
the "Top 50" by The National Law Journal. Mr. Castoria has lectured throughout
the country on insurance, tort reform and technology issues.  He is also a
contributor to leading industry publications.

William Riedley is Assistant Vice President of Commercial Risk Management for
Farmers Insurance Group, where he has helped build the company's leading
position in the Los Angeles-area market.  Mr. Riedley's possesses broad
industry expertise, including in the area of legislative and regulatory
affair.  He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including
Society of CPCU, Society of Professional Planning Professionals and the
Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals.
