The Electrone 720 PoE Keypad Proves a Market Master of Remote Power and
Connectivity

BOCA RATON, Fla., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to the overwhelming response of
its customers to the Electrone 720 S and 720 TCP mini terminal keypads,
Electrone has introduced a new addition to its 720 range. The new model,
enhanced with PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, is the aptly-named
Electrone 720 PoE, now available to customers worldwide.

Building upon previous Electrone 720s, the 720 PoE keypad goes a step further
to offer users two new capabilities: the capabilities to connect and power the
unit without a computer or an external source of power. The keypad functions
as a standalone, remote interface terminal, efficiently using a single
connection to connect directly to a powered RJ45 port for bi-directional,
client-server communication.

The 720 PoE keypad offers users unrivaled operational simplicity coalesced
with functional sophistication. Since it provides users with Ethernet
connectivity without direct computer access, the keypad is a must-have
wherever terminal keypads are necessary, but there are few computers. With a
single-cord for connection and power, the keypad is also easy to transport and
connect.

The 720 PoE keypad's base features include 17 alpha-numeric keys and a 2x16
LCD screen with character display for text data. Electrone can customize the
keypad's firmware, key signals, key tops, legend, and cable. Built with
UL-rated materials, the keypad is also compliant with RoHS, CE, FCC, and WEEE
standards. The 720 PoE keypad has a switch life of 1 million cycles and can be
suited in plastic, wear-resistant key skins, so--as a satisfied customer in
Romanian recently noted--it is sturdy and built to last.

In June, Electrone 720 keypads were used to score gymnastic routines at a
Federatia Romana de Gimnastica (RGF) competition held in Constanta, Romania.
Mircea Dragota, who secured the units from Electrone on behalf of the RGF,
happily informed us that the units "were reliable and [...] ran extremely well
[...] at nearly 40 degrees Celsius inside." As this was the first time that an
electronic scoring system was used to score gymnastic routines in Romania,
Electrone is proud to be a part of Romanian history.

Electrone 720 PoE keypads have been used for a variety of applications, such
as gate access, vehicle monitoring, and pin-entry identification systems.
Customizable for use in a wide range of industries, the 720 PoE can definitely
help improve your business. E-mail GonzaloP@electroneamericas.com or visit our
