Provider of simple-to-use and affordable software for virtualization
management and optimization grows customer acquisitions by 260 percent from
first half of 2008

PORTSMOUTH, N.H., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- VKernel Corporation, a provider of

optimization software, today announced that the company had a very successful
first half of 2009 and gained significant market momentum.  In the first half
of 2009, VKernel increased new customer acquisitions by 260 percent over the
first half of 2008.

VKernel virtualization management and optimization tools solve a number of
critical data center challenges impacting IT staffs today. Delivered as a VMA
(Virtual Management Appliance), VKernel software helps VMware users quickly
optimize their virtual environments by increasing VM densities, improving the
utilization of expensive resources, and managing VM sprawl.

    --  Shipped Modeler 1.0 in March


    --  Over 19,000 total product downloads of VKernel software to date
