McGraw-Hill Education Wins Two 2009 Association of Educational Publishers'
Awards for Excellence in Science Curriculum, Web Marketing

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- McGraw-Hill Education
recently won two Association of Educational Publishers' (AEP) Awards for "Best
Web Site Marketing" for the SRA Imagine It! Web site and "Best Science
Curriculum Educational Program" for the SRA Snapshots Simply Science program.
The AEP awards are designed to recognize excellence in educational products
and education marketing.

"Winning these awards is an exceptional honor," said Dan Caton, president of
SRA/McGraw-Hill and president-elect of the AEP board of directors. "Our team,
that has worked so hard to provide the best in instructional materials, is
thrilled to be chosen by our peers."

ImagineItReading.com is the Web site for SRA's Imagine It! Pre-K-6 reading and
language arts program. The program covers all daily reading, language arts,
and writing curriculum requirements and provides differentiated instruction.
It also has abundant curriculum links to science and social studies. The
Imagine It! Web site fully integrates state-of-the-art technology tools to
enhance learning. It was given the "Beacon Award," which according to AEP,
"shines the spotlight on the crucial but often under-appreciated field of
education marketing."

SRASnapshots Simply Science is a multimedia-based program designed to
introduce science to students in Grades 1 and 2, merging picture books,
science facts, and technology to make learning science more accessible to
children by tapping into their vivid imaginations.

SRASnapshots Simply Science and Imagine It! are both designed to fit within
the Response-to-Intervention model and may be purchased with Federal funding
through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

SRA/McGraw-Hill received the AEP honors at the association's award ceremonies
held on June 12. For more information, visit AEPweb.org.
