Lands' End Celebrates Sailing Heritage as Presenting Sponsor for the 2009 Race

Lands' End sailing team enters race for fifth year; Invites fans to learn more

CHICAGO, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of Lands' End's sailing
heritage, the legendary company returns for its seventh year as presenting
sponsor of the Chicago Yacht Club's Race to Mackinac. The 101st running of
the race sets sail from Chicago on July 18. This year, Lands' End offers
sailing enthusiasts a new way to learn about the race via the company's
Facebook page.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Lands' End sailing team will join the
competition, this year aboard a Jeanneau Sun Fast 3200 named Guaranteed.
Period.(R) The name refers to the company's unconditional return policy. Led
by returning captain Randy Adolphs, the crew of Guaranteed. Period.(R) , which
includes current and retired Lands' End employees, will join more than 3,000
sailors on 350 sailboats in the 333-mile race to Mackinac Island, Michigan.

This year, Lands' End will provide sailing enthusiasts and Lands' End
customers with access to Guaranteed. Period.(R) through video footage
available on the company's Facebook page. Virtual spectators can experience
the excitement surrounding the race. Footage will also include the departure
