Moran Joins NS Capital as Managing Partner for Advisory Services

STAMFORD, Conn., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Dave Moran has joined NS Capital, Stamford, CT, as Managing Partner for Advisory Services. In this role, he is responsible for the selection of all outsource partners and the implementation of all operations of the portfolio management system and institutional custodian as well as leading the company's Florida initiative. His work has resulted in customized performance reports for NS Capital that clearly show clients the results of the firm's proprietary three tier portfolio that combines index, active and alternative investments. Previously, he successfully established and built a fee-only investment advisory practice in New England before moving to Florida. There he served as a Senior Vice President for a boutique investment advisory firm acting as a senior advisor with supervisory responsibility for a team of investment professionals to help grow the firm. In his most recent role Mr. Moran served as a subject matter expert in the areas of investment advice and succession planning for high net-worth professionals and business owner clients of a local Florida banking institution. Dave has served as a personal finance source for The Boston Herald, the Miami-Herald, Kiplinger's Magazine, Money Magazine, Good Morning America, and Investors Business Daily. He was chosen as one of "The Best 150 Financial Advisors for Doctors" by Medical Economics magazine. Additionally he has written numerous articles including "Pay Attention to Your Investments" published in Ophthalmology Management and articles for the investment advisory industry trade publications.
