Federated Investors, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2009 Earnings and
Conference Call Dates

PITTSBURGH, July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Federated Investors, Inc. (NYSE:
FII) will report financial and operating results for the quarter ended June
30, 2009 after the market closes on Thursday, July 23, 2009.  A conference
call for institutional investors and analysts will be held at 9:00 a.m.
Eastern on Friday, July 24, 2009.  President and CEO J. Christopher Donahue
and CFO Thomas R. Donahue will host the call.
