Associated Estates Realty Corporation Announces Details Regarding Second
Quarter Conference Call

CLEVELAND, July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Associated Estates Realty
Corporation (NYSE: AEC) (Nasdaq: AEC) announced today that the Company's
second quarter 2009 earnings are scheduled for release on Monday, July 27,
2009, after the market closes. Promptly following the news wire release, the
earnings announcement and supplemental fact booklet will be posted on

the website, and under Financial Reports, select Quarterly Results to access
