Notice From the Securities Law Firm of Klayman & Toskes to All Investors of the
Aravali Fund
NEW YORK, July 7, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Securities Law Firm of Klayman &
Toskes, P.A. ("K&T") (http://www.nasd-law.com) announced today that it is
investigating the trading practices and supervision by Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB)
in connection with its sale of the Aravali Fund. The Aravali Fund was sold by
Deutsche Bank and other brokerage firms to investors whose primary investment
objectives included income and preservation of capital. Investors have reported
that Deutsche Bank represented the Aravali Fund to be a "virtually 'risk free'"
investment, that invested in high quality municipal bonds and served as an
alternative to a municipal bond portfolio. However, the Aravali Fund, an
Alternative Investment, was actually a speculative fund that engaged in a
complex arbitrage strategy which involved a significant short position in
treasury bonds, interest rate swaps and a highly leveraged pool of municipal
bonds. As a result of this risky investment strategy, the Aravali Fund declined
more than 90% and investors in the Fund have sustained significant damages. A
Deutsche Bank broker has gone on the record stating that based on the
information he received from his employer, he believed that the investment
strategy employed in the Fund was conservative.
Retail and institutional investors who invested in the Aravali Fund, and who
have sustained investment losses, can contact K&T to explore their legal rights
and options. The attorneys at K&T are dedicated to pursuing claims on behalf of
investors who have suffered investment losses. K&T, an experienced, qualified
and nationally recognized securities litigation law firm, practices exclusively

litigation matters against major Wall Street brokerage firms.
